Secret Science of Dirt Spring Camp at Kindercare

What an awesome way to celebrate Spring! Kindercare Learning Centers

are giving children a chance to unlock the mysteries of dirt and nature. 

I haven't had the chance to have my kids attend a spring or summer camp

so this would be a fun way for them to get out there and have lots of fun 

learning how to grow and plant. 

In an effort to encourage children to "grow green," from the months of 

March and April, all 1,600 Kindercare Learning Centers will host 

The Secret Science of Dirt Spring Camp. Children will be able to experience

five full days of fun & exciting, hands-on activities that will enable them to

get a worms-eye view of the world. 

Science of Dirt Camp is designed to help children connect with and respect

nature by uncovering the answers to questions that children ask about the

natural world. 

There are activities for campers of school age, pre-school & pre-kindergarten

learners. They'll enjoy enjoy age appropriate activities that discover the 

secrets of science by planting popcorn seeds, grow herbs, making chlorophyll

prints, preparing tasty vegetable treats and put their creativity to work by 

creating crafty decorations to learn how to beautify even the littlest patch of

green. 

School Age Learners will learn how to plant vegetables to composting

Pre-school & Pre-Kindergartners will explore vegetables, herbs, flowers 

and rock gardening.
