Our Thoughts
I enjoyed reading the actual stories of Amish families that Suzanne
Woods Fisher shares in this wonderful book. After reading Amish
Values for Your Family, I've prioritized our family time, being more
forgiving and starting our own family legacy of going to special
places on Sunday evening, such as Temple Square downtown to
watch inspirational movies for our family or visiting the duck pond
to feed the ducks on Monday evenings or Saturday evenings at the
drive in with the kids. We've also changed things here at home to
living a simple life and taking things one day at a time.
